We are not the Legal Aid Agency, the Ministry of Justice, HM Courts & Tribunals Service, or any other government body in the UK or US, and we are not endorsed by them. We cannot decide or apply for legal aid. Only a legal aid provider (and the relevant legal aid authority) can decide whether you qualify.
Tools
The “Check your options” tool and the cost calculator give indications based on simplified versions of published rules. They can be wrong for your situation and are not a decision about eligibility. The provider finder shows data published by the Legal Aid Agency; inclusion is not a recommendation, and we can’t guarantee that an office is open, has capacity, or still holds a contract.
